Saw a lot of graffiti pieces in paris france while sitting in the back of my parents' car. Mostly rooftops and t-ups. Amazing stuff.
Met some other kids in my home town doing that spraycan thing and I was sold.
Coming to a foreign city just to find out that Graphic Design is a real profession, a whole life got restarted. Later I got a G5 and started playing around. There was always a chance to do a flyer and sometimes I even got payed. Wow.
Quitted my sales person job and began a traineeship as a screen printer, where I learned a lot about screen printing, pre-press and Litho. Two weeks later they gave me a permanent position. The special aroma of copy fluid is pretty addictive.
After six months went by I switched to a small design bureau. Did corporate design for web, print and packaging.
On the side finished SAE's Multimedia Producer course, which contained stuff like HTML/CSS, Flash, 3d animation and so on. That gave me a good push into the right direction.
Worked on part-time and full-time for the Medienwerft. Did some web design, logos and other stuff.
Back in the freelancing game.
Started to work for Bigpoint GmbH. That was actually the first time to be seated on the client side of the table where did logos, web design, ui and stuff.
Back on the block singing that freelance blues.
Found a new home at Goodgame Studios / Altigi GmbH and 4 months later they put me in a leadership position. Crazy.
